Virtual Therapy

home office

My private practice is virtual.

And I love it! Working virtually allows me to see clients all over California. It also provides a lot of flexibility for clients. Virtual therapy is perfect for people who need to be home for childcare reasons (as long as you still have privacy!), for couples who will be joining the appointment from different locations, or even for clients who like the idea of taking their therapy appointment from the comfort of their own space.

Virtual therapy has its benefits and limitations.

Just like in-person therapy, the trick to enjoying virtual therapy and getting the most out of your session is preparation.

Here are some tips:

  • Make sure you have a safe and private place to meet

  • Check that your wi-fi connection is strong and that your computer or phone you will be using is charged

  • Grab some headphones for extra privacy

  • Get comfortable!! Grab a blanket, your favorite beverage, some grounding items, even a snack if you’d like!
